Philadelphia Pedestrian Leaves Restaurant And Is Hit By Car Of A Drunk Patron In Montgomery County, PA
January 2024
Our client, a resident of Philadelphia, had just finished a lovely birthday meal with his family at a restaurant in Fort Washington, Montgomery County and was leaving the premises on foot to find his car when he was mowed down by the car of another customer at the restaurant in the parking lot. The police were called in and field sobriety tests revealed that the driver of the striking vehicle was legally intoxicated. The collision caused our client a bad closed head injury and concussion plus a fractured femur. We recovered the full policy limits from the dui driver's policy plus a six-figure settlement from the restaurant that over-served him.
