Medical marijuana was approved in Pennsylvania by law on May 17, 2016. Under specific circumstances it may be approved by your doctor in non-smoking form (tincture, other edible forms) for “serious” conditions, some of which can result from the trauma of an accident. Chronic and intractable neuropathic pain and spasm are two examples. If you are suffering from serious, intractable pain from an accident, speak to your primary doctor about this option which may help you to avoid or reduce use of opioids.
